deer broke my cipa extendable mirror

ive been catching coons in my backyard for the last three nights and sure enough got another last night. seeing that i had all my gear and truck loaded for camping this weekend i unloaded a few things to take the coon out to the country to dump it. i didnt want it left in the trap in the back yard while i was away. so i went about 10 miles out and dumped it, on the way back a deer ran across the road and smack! right into my passenger side door and crunch! my brand new, cipa extendable mirror that ive had for a week, snaps at the base and a big dent is in my door. all for a coon! i called my insurance co, and am waiting for a call back.

That really sucks...I had a friend in high school who had a deer run into the side of his car...it actually totaled the car. At first the insurance company was like, right...a deer ran into you. The only proof he had was a little deer hair and some blood stuck on his door.

That does suck! I had a deer run into the side of my car in high school. There was a tree line that split these two fields, it was night, and the deer must of been running on the other side of the tree line as I was coming towards it. As soon as I drove by the tree line BANG, right into the side of the car. Then the dam thing ROLLED all down the side of the vehical, denting it all the way. It was just a little skipper, but man did it do some damage.
