95 Tahoe electrical issues

Hey guys i could really use some help diagnosing a couple issues i'm having with my 95 Tahoe LS 5.7L... First problem i'm having is my windshield wiper controls, when i turn my wipers on they move intermittently also stopping half way through cycle, idk if this is related but my second issue is my head lights not always turning on. when i start my truck i sometimes have to mess with the harness connection to my turn signal/wiper control to have my head lights turn on. I've looked up parts but being i'm still very new to this truck and domestic vehicles i figured i better ask around first. Any help is appreciated!!- Derrick
