Driver side wire harness shorted out, no electrical pwr on drivers doo

Hello everyone,

I created my own problem and now need help.

I was installing a 6x9 speaker on the drivers side front door. I modified the sheet metal a bit to have the speaker fit. Using self-tapping screws I secured the speaker to the metal of the door. To the left of the speaker location is a wire bundle harness that leads to the window pwr switches, pwr lock switch and side view mirror adjuster switch.

Although I new the wire harness was there, I forgot about it cause I still had that plastic opaque moisture barrier on. The self-tapping screw went right through the wire bundle and everything on the door stopped working. I removed the electrical tape, checked the wires. The screw removed the vinyl jacket from some of the wires and acted as a short between a couple of wires. None of the wires were cut, so there is still continuity in them. I insulated each frayed wire with electrical tape, wrapped the bundle and reinstalled the door panel. Nothing electrical is working on the drivers side. I checked some fuses, none appeared to be blown. The passenger door electrical window and pwr lock works on that door. When I use the pwr lock on the passenger door, it only locks that door and not the drivers side as it should. My doors electrical is dead and I need to get the window up all the way.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
