Front bumper sensor plugs?

Recommended Posts

I just purchased a 2014 Silverado K1500 Rally edition and it came with a crease in the front bumper. My co worker has a new front bumper off of a 2015 Silverado K1500. His has the parking assist sensor holes in the bumper. My 2014 does not. Do they sell a plug kit or is there a way to use the bumper and make it look good? Thanks.

I haven't heard or seen of any bumper plugs for the parking assist sensors. But I know for a fact they do sell the sensor surround. I bought one off ebay $5 or something a year ago. But you may be able to purchase some used no working parking sensors off a K2XX or previous generation and stick them in there. Or if you color match the bumper someone could weld in the holes and give it a nice smooth finish. I think your dilemma really lies on if the bumper is a steal of deal.

Its not that complicated just get the sensor shrouds thats how I did it on my work rig. I think they are $8 bucks a piece at the dealership. And just ad a little piece of round plastic where the sensor goes.
