Timbrens

I want to level out the front end of my 03 and was wondering if anyone had any experiences with the Timbrens. Just wanted to know if it sits totally level once you put em in or at least Z71 height. Also, I just got my Silverado so I don't know very much suspension wise, but I was wondering do all Silverados come with an independent front suspension? If they don't, how would I kno if mine did or not.

Congratulations on the new truck - the color you chose is badass...I don't have a clue what you are talking about though. I'm sure someone here will...good luck!

I was worried that our 2500LD wouldn't be able to handle a 8.5 Myers snow plow (about 750 lbs.) so I looked into Timbrens. I don't think they will give any lift at all, just support more weight. BTW the 2500 handles the plow easily without the Timbrens.

Hey guys,

I think I'm just gonna put in the Daystar coil spring spacers and give the front end like 2 inches of lift. They go for like 80 bux and don't affect ride height and stuff so to level it out I think thats the way to go. Thanks guys.

Timbrens do not offer any lift, they actually sit about 1/2" above the lower control arm, the truck droops that far, with added weight, then thats it, doesnt sag any more.

The Daystars are a good option for leveling out the front of your truck, I assume that it is 2wd as all 4wd's have torsion bars. Yes, all chevy trucks (except the medium duty 4500 and 5500) come with Independent Front Suspension.
