83 s15 jimmy trouble starting

ok I just recently bought an 83 s15 jimmy that had been sitting for about 5 years and Ive been having trouble starting it at first it needed some fuel system attenion( fuel pump, filter, lines cleaned) but now its some thing electrical.. and the switch was very hard to turn at first then I sprayed it with lubricant it started to turn easier but then it started sticking again and when it wud finally turn over nothing wud happen no click no noise or anything other than the the rough sounding click inside the cylinder so I started to remove the steering wheel to check for any broken pieces.. well once I u loosened the nut hold the steering wheel down the ignition cylinder began to turn more freely.. but still nothing so I took down the starter and when I did I noticed a few more wires than usual connected to the center bolt of the solenoid and so I was wondering if that was normal... so an wiring diagram for the starter & starting system wud b very helpful... thanks
