2016 Silverado 2500 Emblem front removal?

Hello, Ive searched here and youtube, but can't seem to find exactly what Im looking for. Anyone know whats the best way to take off the front bowtie on the grill and install a black billet one? I'd rather not get into major surgery, lol! Thanks

The original one just snaps into the grille. It has tabs on it to remove it. I don't remember exactly as its been better than a year I had mine out. I know if you take the cover off the front under the hood it makes it a whole lot easier. I have never put a billet one in so I don't know how they install.

Ok, so take off the cover, then I should be able to reach everything? Thats what i was hoping for. The billet one kinda bolts in, not a snap like the oem, but I think if I can pop out the stock one, then I should be able to tighten the bolts for the new one. Thanks for the input!

Got it done! That one was way easier than on my 08 Sierra Denali, thanks for the help

just reached down there with a screwdriver and popped them out, once I figured out which ones it was real easy. I did break a couple tabs on the old emblem, but I won't ever need it again.
