IS GM REALLY SORRY??

let me state first that i have a 98 gmc z71 that i like very much....but i have had to repair the wipers myself because i have never gotten a recall on the problem and i have also repaired two others that belong to friends who have never gotten a recall on their trucks...i only recently got the recall on the electric mirrors....if gm is really tring to right the boat this should not be the case...i have repaired gm radios under warranty for the past 35 years and have seen the same failures year after year....during the 80's they had the same solder problems for some 8 or 9 years and never did correct that problem....plus toward the end of the 80's they were buying back the old radios only to refurbish them and then resell them as new, again with the same solder problems....and through all this they were paying bonuses to the top dogs for a job well done !!...gm used to have lots of shops set up to repair their radios but then started pulling contracts from shops that didn't go along with their way of screwing the people that bought their products in good faith....they used to have schools on their new products every year and then decided to stop doing that....the owner of a defective radio here where i live had at one time the choice of at least 3 different repair shops to get their radio repaired so if they had an unpleasant experience at one they could try another, not so anymore,,,,also you could get repair parts at least 4 or 5 different places to repair radios that were out of warranty, again not so anymore !!...so to cut this short, it is my belief that this crap about them being so sorry is nothing but a bunch of bull hockey...if they really are sorry then they need to get back to service of yesteryear and stop trying to corner the market on service and let the people that buy their products have a choice on who they choose to repair their problems....

thanks for letting me get this off my chest now i'll go outside and see if i can figure out what is wrong with my heating and a/c controls !!!!

I would say about every big business and alot of small ones are out there to make money, and if they can make more by cheating people and such, they wont hesitate to do it, no matter what company!
