Blinking Lights

Hello,

I've got a question that the dealers only solution is "bring it in and we'll hook it up to the computer for $75"..

This weekend my battery went completely dead on my 1998 GMC Sierra. After I jump started it everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT for the 4x4 switches.

Now the 2H, 4H, and 4L lights are all blinking and pressing the buttons do nothing.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of this happening or am I just going to have to break down and take it to a dealer?

Ahaa, victory..

I ended up following a tip for another error code problem I found. I think it was a post about the a/c blinking.. I disconneced the battery, reconnected it, and walla, no more blinking lights..
