2017 Denali hd2500 crew cab

I am considering switching from a large SUV Toyota Sequoia for which I haul my bird dogs and hunting gear around and going to either the Yukon xl with the 6.2 l gas engine to gain 14 more inches but really would like a duramax and Allison drive train.

So I am thinking hard about changing from an SUV to a pick up truck.

If I do this then I will carry my dogs in the rear seat area in the crew cab. Can the rear seats be removed totally in stead of just folding up?

Who makes the best rear bed raised fiberglass cover that would be painted the same color as the truck to store my hunting gear so it is secure.

I have never had a truck or diesel. I am sick of low gas mileage in a large SUV and when pulling a small 8000 lb trailer my mileage is even worse.
