Motor mount replacement???

How would you guys go about replacing the driver side motor mount on a 2008 chevrolet silverado with 4wd? Thank you.

Any help please? Is it true that I can pull it out through the wheel well without having to remove the diff?

When my indie did mine I believe he removed some of the exhaust. Mines a 2011 may be different.

Should be the same did he remove the differential as well?

Don't think so. Exhaust. I think he said one side he could get pretty easily, but the other he needed to remove some exhaust. Then when I picked it up he said he had to remove exhaust both sides. I think this may be one where you have a choice as to what, but something has to get moved. I tell you what, the motor mounts on mine were shot at 80k miles. One had a big tear in it and one had a small one. Truck shifted better after changing. Check your front ball joints too. Mine were also shot at 80k miles. Changed those too and also improved the driving experience. You are going to love it.

I was checking it out and it does seem as if I could pull it from the top by removing the manifold
