Kill switch help

Hey been trying to look for some info on kill switches. Found a small write up and tells me to just cut the purple wire, but there's 2 and don't want to cut the wrong one. Also has anyone done a kill switch for the fuel pump? Trying to do both

It would be interesting to know what year, make, model, and drivetrain vehicle is connected to that purple wire.

The following link has wiring diagrams for your truck. Be sure to pay attention to the text at the bottom of each image to be sure it applies to your year moidel. Once you click the Enlarge button, you can right click the displayed image and save it to your computer for future reference. There are several that apply to your truck that are for different subsystems. The wire colors are shown on the schematics.

BTW, manual/automatic transmission and gasoline/diesel fuel also make a difference in the wiring.
