Towing Question

I have a 2500HD 6.0L that I was wondering if I should put the truck in Tow/Haul mode when towing my brothers Pop camper... It weighs in around 3,500 pounds.

You shouldn't have to bother.

 

I pull a 5000lb+ Boat with my 1/2 ton (5.3), and I don't use tow/haul all the time.

That weight shouldn't bother your truck... if you find that the tranny is shifting more than you want it to, then go ahead and push the button...

No, you won't need tow/haul mode. That weight is nothing for the 6.0.

Does tow haul mode lock up the tranny TC a little better than normal mode?
