SPE Proflash program installed.

I took out the HPP tuning and loaded the Proflash tuning, the Proflash has alot more options and removes some of the Torque Management. You can choose between stock, economy, tow/rv and performance tuning for the engine, trans tuning and trans shifts. It also has a ping control to decrease or increase timing as well as options for rear end gear and tire changes. You can also choose the gas you want to tune for 87, 89 or 93. I loaded the 89 tuning but using 91 (no 93 in CA), tow/rv engine tuning (makes more torque, perf tuning makes more HP according to SPE), +5% ping control (advances timing), tow/rv trans tuning and performance trans shifts. The trans holds each gear longer under normal around town driving which I like. I let the ECM adjust after a 150 mile road trip and then did two 0-60 runs tonight after work. Now, before I put the big wheel and tires on (Escalade 265/70R17 vs stock 255/70R16's) my truck would do 0-60 in about 6.0-6.10 seconds, with the 0-40 times being 3.0-3.1.. The bigger tires slowed me down to the 6.4-6.5 range with the 0-40 times being 3.3-3.4, this is with the HPP 93 tuning, +3 1-2 shift point and firm shift setting. Tonight my truck did the two 0-40 and 0-60 runs in 3.13 & 6.22 and 3.16 & 6.26 seconds. I'm quite pleased with the SPE Proflash now, the shifts have firmed up from the initial install and the truck drives around town much better, less gas to get around. So far, so good!

Glad your happy with it. I was looking at this long ago and tried to get more specifics from the company. They didn't answer my questions (too complex) and afterward they stopped replying to my emails...so I wrote them off as unsubstantiated claims and a cheap ripoff of hypertech, predator, or superchips.
