how to have "DRL"on with headlights

hey guys saw and "Avalanche"with there"DRL"on with there headlights on.it looked awesome has anyone done the same?how hard is it to do it

I did think about doing that. Getting some sockets for the 3157 lamps and wiring them so the do pretty much what the park lights/turn signals do. Maybe run to a salvage yard and find a late model Chevy and cut off the pigtails. Then wire them into the park lamps. If you just wired the DRL socket that is already there, the light would be brighter than the other park lamp. Thats why I went looking for the sockets that will accept a 3157 rather than a 3156.
