2001 suburban won't go into any gear.

I recently rebuilt the transmission in my suburban . Had it running and driving for a couple days. I hopped into it and when I put it it gear nothing happens. It's like it's in neutral. Drive, reverse, 1st 2nd and 3rd. Shift cable is on and it moves the shift linkage on the side of the transmission. Any one with ideas I can look into ?

Drive shaft or rear end issue? Low transmission fluid? Clogged transmission filter? Did you flush the trans cooler during the rebuild?

Didn't find anything much in the fluid. Had a burnt out 3/4 clutch pack

I did. I am an automotive and heavy duty mechanic... but admittedly this was my first transmission.

Well, as long as you warranty your own work - just send it back for a free repair.
