I’ve been looking around for the details to fix a faulty ride control switch on my ‘02 Sierra. Several folks had a fix with a rocker switch. Does anyone have details they could share? Thanks in advance- joe

From what I have heard about this switch it is just a simple push button switch.  When you press it, the button stays depressed and the light comes on.  Press it again and the light goes out and the button returns to original position.

You should be able to locate a simple round rocker switch that could be mounted inside the bezel for the original switch.  The wiring should be simple enough, you will have power wire, a load wire, a indicator light wire, maybe a ground wire for the indicator light.  Rocker switch will have two connections, one for power in, the other for the load wire.  Connect the indicator light wire to the load wire then connect those two wires to one terminal on rocker, connect power in wire to the other terminal. Modify the bezel to fit the switch. Leave the indicator ground wire connected to the harness.
