Broken grille assembly

I have a broken grille assembly on my 2001 2500hd. Question is will a grille assembly from a 2001 1500 fit my truck. I’m sure this has been asked before. Able to buy one of a truck being parted out a lot cheaper than buying mew

It should.  I don't know about how the Chev grille goes, but if your 2500hd has the 2" body lift, there will be a 2" black strip along the bottom of the grille, and it's attached to the grille.  If so, you may want to look at your grille to see if it can be removed & attached to the other grille, otherwise, you'll need to track down a grille with that 2" black strip already attached.

 

Update: just to be clear, I'm only referring to the Sierra grille.
