Problem:  "Service power brake booster" light comes on.  Power steering sound is noisy.

Possible Solution:  I am thinking about just bleeding the system.

Question:  If bleeding the system would solve the problem, which hose do I disconnect and which hose do I plug?  Anyone have the steps or a link to a video?

Noise in the power steering system could be caused by air or sometimes a worn out pump. If the fluid was low, normally it will self bleed when you refill the system and run it a while. In some cases the noise will persist and sometimes I've seen it go away when it sits overnight, somehow the air slips out.

As far as taking a line loose, I would think that would be a grand idea to flush out the system. Sometimes dirty fluid causes failure of the hydromax unit. If your fluid wasn't low to start with, dirty fluid could be causing your problems now. Good luck, I hope this helps.

This stuff is amazing. It makes your steering MUCH quieter and also much easier to turn the steering wheel. 1 bottle works great. Two bottles make your steering wheel "too easy" to turn. Remove some old fluid with a turkey baster ($1 at Walmart) before adding this stuff.
