Motor oil changes every 3000 miles, trans fuild every 30,000. What about A/C maintance. My truck is 15 months years old with 21,000 mile, so I was wondering what kind of maintanance sould I consider. Any suggestions?

The only thing I can suggest is check your compressor belt, cabin filters and make sure your condenser is free of bugs and / or other debris. You could also have a set of guages thrown on the system to see if your are full of refrigerant. Other than that, If she blows cold, keep on truckin.

Hi Petemata:

Don't know much about a/c work, but one minor thing I do every so often when I wash the baby is to pop off the grill and blast all the bugs off the radiator using the water nozzel. I figure keeping the radiator clear improves things just a little bit.

Nice looking truck in your picture. Hey! Is that a train whistle I hear?

Filters. If it's blowing cold I would not recomend putting any gages on it as you will loose some refrigerant in the proccess. The system has a pretty small amount of refrigerant to begin with. The oil & refrigerant will last forever if it does not leak. It does not go bad. :jester::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::chevy::thumbs:
