TB Spacer and Cold Air intake compatibility

I'm slowly starting to fix up my 2002 5.3L Silverado. I've heard that some cold-air intakes aren't compatible with throttle-body spacers (due to space limitations w/ the fan shroud)) Does anyone use both, and if so, which intake system works out?

I put the airraid cold air intake and the poweraid tbs on my 01 sierra. This system uses the stock air tube and the fit is tight. I originally bought the k&N FIPK and poweraid tbs but the tube would not clear the fan trim. I have had my current setup for 30k miles with no problems. Picked up some noticable power with this duo also. Hope this helps
