JEEP Spring Question

My wife owns a 95 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 , I use this jeep for my backwoods hunting & when I load the Jeep up with 400 or 500lbs of stuff , the rear sags. I wanted to go with a helper leaf spring but the guy at the Auto shop said -that doing that will raise the back up when it's not loaded giving the Jeep a RAKED look. Is there anything out there that will increase my load capacity- without that raked look. I also have Heavy duty shocks(NEW) on the jeep & this did not help either.

You need to look into adding some air bags...beefing up the springs would make the ride alot rougher when not loaded. You wife would kick your ass for that :)

You can go with a 2 inch add-a-leaf for the rear leaf pack, and a 1.75 inch spacer for the front coils. You can get these at www.rustysoffroad.com for just a bit over $100. I had the 2 inch add-a-leafs on my '86 Wagoneer for 2 years before upgrading. The ride change wasn't very noticable, and it was able to carry more wieght than stock. 2 inches won't be very noticable if your worried about looks.
