Tow mirror install issue

A co-worker of mine purchased some tow mirrors for his 2015 Sierra SLE and I helped him install them today and we ran into an issue I am hoping those who are reading this could help us figure out. The issue that we ran into was that the passenger mirror wires somehow got frayed by the door panel bolt when we put the door back together and found out because all of the functions were messed up. Unfortunately after taking everything apart and repairing the wires the power adjustment on both sides no longer works. It doesn't matter which side you try to adjust nothing works. I checked every fuse on both fuse panels on either side of the dash and no fuses were blown. Is it possible that the switch itself burnt out or is there something else that could have gone wrong? Even after putting the old mirror back on that did not work either.
