6.0 downpipes to 5.3 manifolds...

Have been thinking of changing the WAY-TOO-QUIET stock exhaust to something different. My idea is to find a set of 6.0 downpipes and see if they will bolt to the stock 5.3 manifolds. They are both 3-inch, so they sould work. Right?? Has anybody tried this??

 

Just looking for a true-dual system. I looked at the stock 5.3 downpipes, and where they meet together at the converter, it looks like there is not enough room to split the pipes and do duals.

Oh, and if the 6.0 pipes would work, would all of the o2 sensors/connections be proper??
