Kania2k1 Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 I too a week longer than it should have because the guy at the shipping department entered the wrong zip code. Here's what they look like: Romeo's And what I considered buying until my girlfreind said NO WAY! The green ones!
Jpshostr Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 I've never been too much of a sunglasses fan, guess I know they aren't going to help me look like a cool dude. Just put my hat on everyday like I always do, I get along fine.
gmcjoe Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 *SNIP*And what I considered buying until my girlfreind said NO WAY! The green ones! You need to get your girlfriend something really nice for helping you out ;)
AU Chevy Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 Who would wear something like the overthetop style. That is one cumbersome pair of sungalsses. I'll stick to my cheap drugstore throwaways.
CityTruck Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 I actually like the Romeo style. I wish I was wealthy enough to pay $285 for a pair of sunglasses. :0
Kania2k1 Posted May 1, 2002 Author Posted May 1, 2002 I hear ya, I split the price with my gf. Late Christmas present. Everyone has said, "Oh, your just going to sit on them, yada, yada, yada" B***S***! If you spend almost $300 on shades, you're not gonna sit on 'em. I personally always wear sunglasses, no matter how cloudy it is. Gotta take care of your eyes, once they're gone, there;s no getting them back! On the over the tops, they are actually very comfortable, you hardly know they are on. I think they are for stuff like snowboarding, skiing, and other downhill wacky sports!
Import Hater Posted May 1, 2002 Posted May 1, 2002 Yay! Another Oakley freak like me around here! I have the Juliets with the Fire lens. I also have M-Frames with a pantload of lenses. But my latest pair is the Square Wire 2 with the spring hinges. Comfy. But the best part is the Ice polarized lens. I swear, every lens from now on I buy will be polarized. It does wonders for making the glare of the dashboard on the window go away. Rob
AU Chevy Posted May 2, 2002 Posted May 2, 2002 On the over the tops, they are actually very comfortable, you hardly know they are on. I think they are for stuff like snowboarding, skiing, and other downhill wacky sports! That might work. I was just trying to imagine where I would store something like that....hang 'em off the mirror...I dunno know. The romeos look cool, but I'm one them people that sits on em. Luckily my Raybans are metal framed and I can bend back.
