CAN YOU TURN ENCODER MOTOR SPLINE EITHER WAY,BY HAND?

CAN YOU DRIVE IN 4X4 MODE(Rear wheel drive suburban) W/O FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ATTACHED?

IF 6O'CLOCK (STRAIGHT DOWN)IS NEUTRAL, (ON T.C.SPLINE) AND 2 CLICKS CLOCKWISE IS 2HI...WHAT IS 4HI/4LO? 

ARE THEY ALL JUST 2 CLICKS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ROTATE GEAR OF ENCODER MOTOR SAFELY BY HAND TO NEUTRAL.
