Tire rubbing

I have a 2006 Chevy silverado 5.3 1500 with a 6” lift and 35x12.5R20s that have -44 offset. I rub pretty good at full turn, would I still rub if I dropped to a -18? Or I’d have to go quite a bit more to notice a difference? I’m wanting more steering radius for parking in tight spots etc, and would like the tires to stick out just a bit out of the stock fender flairs. Thanks
