I'm trying to find someone that can give me an answer on the amount of play in the front cv axles, hoping someone here can help me out because the guys on the silverado/sierra forum were a$$holes... I know theres going to be SOME play in and out as to travel with the suspension,  what I want to know is how much should there be if an upward force was applied to the shaft, straight up from the bottom of the truck... and also how much should it move if you were to grab the shaft and rotate it like it would rotating while in motion, BUT sitting still... a number would be great but I know that I'm probably not going to get that... it just seems to me that a cv axle should have minimal play if any in any direction other than in and out suspension travel, as that's how every other truck in the world is made...
