2003 Sierra/Silverado Tailgate Caps

My ‘03 GMC Sierra has the plain black plastic tailgate cap (GM #15932261) on it, and as far as I can tell, GM never put the spoiler style (GM #15932249) tailgate cap on the Sierras. It appears that the spoiler style was only put on certain levels of the Silverado. The plain cap affixes with only double sided tape while the Silverado spoiler style cap utilizes four threaded fasteners with “Rivnuts” as well as the tape.

 

I would like to put the Silverado spoiler style on my Sierra, so my question is this… Does anyone know if the four “Rivnut” holes are present on the Sierra tailgate?

 

Has anyone done this mod (I'm sure someone has). Thanks for any input.
