Are they both 1500's or is the Sub a 2500? 3/4 ton and 1 ton sit higher in stock form than 1/2 ton because of larger frame, larger suspension, etc.

Same sized tires?

4x4 vs 2WD?

Same body style/era/year?

Any 4x4 with the F60 optioni has 1 ton front torsion bars. This is the "snow plow" option, got mine for $63 bucks when ordering.

Could also be illusion, as NBS (new body style) has larger rear wheel wells, so looks higher in back.

I believe the 2wd Silverado has coil over front suspension compared to the torsion bar suspension on the SUVs, HDs, and 4wd halftons

2WD Silverado, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburbans all have coil front springs.

They all uses same parts, as they are all derived from same base truck.

Given comparing 1/2 ton to 1/2 tons and 3/4 ton to 3/4 ton. Since any 3/4 ton in stock form sits 2-2.5 inches taller than any 1/2 ton in stock form, thought the comparision was not apples to apples.

There are manufacturing tolerances that might account for some difference, but 2 inches is too much for just manufacturing tolerance.

Nope there is a 2002 Tahoe 2wd in my driveway with torsion bars.
