2019 Silverado Keypad entry

Hey guys,

 

I recently switched to 2019 Chevy from Ford.  I really miss having the keypad to get into the truck. I noticed you can buy the accessory and get it programmed to work.

 

I’ve found 2 different options, but only one that “fit my vehicle”. The first option is for the 2019 and looks really cheap and the second option is for a 2020. 
 

My question is do you really think the 2020 keypad won’t work for the 2019 or is there some sort of hardware component that would prevent it from working?
