Hey guys,

My 2019 LT looked like that buff dude at the gym that forgot leg day. As soon as I got my truck I knew those 17s had to go. I found a guy who owned a tire shop selling brand new Trail Boss wheels/tires and I I jumped all over them. It completely transformed the look!

But, before I made the move on them I was trying to do my research to make sure that I wouldn’t have any fit issues. The newer design with round wheel wells takes the new 33” tire with ease. Plus, my truck, or all 19 Silverados?, sit a little high from the factory so it looks like it has a little lift.

I didn’t get the truck for good MPG, I bought it for utility. I drove about 2,000 miles on the stock 17s and was averaging about 18 MPG. With the 33’s, driving more or less the same routes, I averaged about 16.5 MPG. Not a bad loss of mileage considering a drive mostly city.

Anyways, here are before and after pictures. Wheels are OEM Trail Boss 18” and the tires are Goodyear Duratrac in 275/65/18. I subsequently added a 2” front strut level. Pictures are before the level.

If you have any questions about the fit, ride or anything else hit me up. I remember when I was looking for info and couldn’t find anything! Just here to help.

Which strut spacers did you go with? Trying to decide what to go with on my 2020!

I used the ReadyLIFT 2.0” leveling kit. They are slightly more expensive than other spacers/levels, but,  you get what you pay for.
