I have a 2004 1500 sierra base model and bought a 2002 1500 sierra that is loaded for a parts truck. My question is this, can I swap the interior wiring harness out of the 2002 into my 2004? I ask because the doors from the 02' are in perfect condition and power everything. I have tore the dash apart in the parts truck and have access 95% of the connections, only the firewall connection remains.

I wouldn't expect them to be exactly the same, as GM revamped the computer setup in '03 or '04.  The simpler plugs are more likely to be the same, but the bigger plugs, particularly to the bcm and the other computers, are more likely to at least need repinning.

You can maybe go to https://www.gmupfitter.com/ and go through the connector pinouts for the two years and compare.

Thanks for the quick reply Davester, I will definitely visit that site. I figured I'd be chasing to many obstacles just to have power doors, Bummer.
