Okay so I was installing a new breakaway box on my trailer and when I was testing it. I must have blown a fuse of something on my truck. Brakes have always worked on it until now. Unhooked that trailer backed up to my brand new trailer that I know works. And nothing. All lights work as it should but no input on integrated dic. No fuses are blown under the hood checked everything that I know to check. I’m beyond confused. 2016 Silverado 2500 HD

I had a DOT INSPECTION pull the breakaway wire to test battery while Truck wiring was hooked up to the trailer still. I cycled ignition twice, pulled the plug from trailer wire and ran brake controller multiple times before my trailer brakes started getting output again. I thought I was going to be sending the state patrols dealership bill, because I’ve heard that will fry a controller
