Rebates and Build Dates

Anyone have any good rumors about additional December or January rebates on the HD series (8.1 or Dmax)?? I have read that Chevy (and GM as a whole) has been losing market shares this year. That could cause them to offer additional rebares/cash back at the end of the year in an attempt to regain market shares but I have not heard even a small rumor about increased rebates.

 

How about build/delivery dates on the LLY?? I am scheduled to take delivery on my new 2500HD 8.1 next Tuesday but am having second thoughts the more I read about the LLY. Went through all of the analysis like Engineer did and came up with the same conclusion that for ME the 8.1 was they way to go. But now I am having second thoughts and am considering reordering the truck with the LLY.

 

However, if Chevy reduces the Cash Back and/or removes the $1000 Dmax Power Option Rebate the cost differential gets way too big to justify the difference. Then there is the issue of when the truck would be built and delivered. It has taken a little over 6 weeks from order until delivery on this truck. If the build dates for the LLY is pushed back and considering the Holidays I could be looking at 8 weeks or more (February) for a new delivery date. Decision, decisions.

I picked up my truck this past Friday. I recieved 1000 Heavy Duty Rebate 2500 Cash back, and 400 Registration Releif (CA only)
