Cargo lamp/Tailgate Dome etc-

How do you get all of these lights to illuminate during exit/approach? My 2017 had the cargo lamp illuminate when I exited the truck but the 2020 only looks to activate when I press the button by the light switch. Owners manual says second press on the cargo light and it gets me to where I want but when I exit truck and lights all go off, these remain on (want them to turn off with the rest of the lights).

 

Any mods? wire jumps etc that could make this work?
