Picked up some dirt cheap 20x10 Fuel Coverts with TPMS installed. Had to pull some burnt tires off.

Before I committed to mount and balance or buying new Duratracs (305/55/20), I wanted to check fitment.

Measured ahead I knew the rim would fit. Got clearance numbers. Knew it might be tight already with my stock 275/60/20 Trailrunners (33”)

Rough rim measures

Backspacing: 4-7/8”

Front spacing 6-3/8”

Got them used, but my math says -18 offset, which matches online.

Mounted one Trailrunner up on the rim for a test. I would prefer to just burn up stockies before going to buy a new set. Though they are a bit narrow leading to a round vs square look. But this also gives me more clearance.

Problem:

My 275/60/20’s are contacting at full turn on the rear part of front well at the mudguard. Very slightly.

Looking for solutions.

1. Trimming might give me some room, but not sure how much I need. It’s seems to be a fairly slight rub. Letting it melt might be ok. This would fit my 275. I imagine going to 305’s this is not going to be enough(?).

2. Minimal lift - like the ready lift SST 2”. Would this get me enough room to clear 305’s guesstimating? I’m sure it would clear up the stocks 33’s - just not a fan of balloon tires, though I may be stuck with them for now.

- problem with sst is they say no good for AWD. Weather is so variable here that it’s worth to have. (+6C to -12 etc daily, dry patches in sun, ice over night, snow in shades. It’s a real cluster.)
