:P Not even in Canadian dollars. Try to talk him into giving you more to take it. It could be a collector in some circles but in the mean time it's going to take $$$$.

Have you seen it in person? Driven it?

Thats a lot of headache, if you don't have the facilities, tools, and/or knowledge and motivation....I would skip it.

But I would say that if it starts, runs, drives solid, and all of the major components work.....It's worth close to $2000.

lol, Just as I suspected. :P

Originally he wanted 2000 for it, now he says he'll accept $1500.

Haven't driven it yet... It's waiting on a new exhaust and inspection. I told him do that stuff first, then we'll talk.

It runs, and drives well. I need to ask him about a couple things first. (We know each other really well, he's a fellow scout).

Dude

that is a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet truck :P

You gotta jump on that deal. It's a classic and the top comes off completly.

I dont know where you live but in CA you dont have to smog it.

That's a truck you keep for the rest of your life. I would...!

Personally, I won't tell you if the truck is worth $2000 or not. You really can't see a whole lot in those pictures, unlike looking at a truck in person. With trucks this old you really have to look for rust, not just on the visible body panels, but everywhere on the entire truck. There could be all kinds of problems hidden under that primer (I would never buy a vehicle in primer, much better to buy an untouched vehicle so you know what you are dealing with)

I would also turn and run from that truck for two other reasons. Number one being the lift, and number two being that three speed manual transmission. With modified trucks, unless you know the person who did the work real well, there is no telling if they are compenent to do the work. As for the manual transmission, I know you really want a three on the tree, but those transmissions are nothing but trouble, and you would be much better off with a truck with the 4-speed manual.

I think those old Blazers are cool, but just be real careful about what you get yourself into with old trucks.
