Problems at 7k miles

I love my chevy, but d**n, 7000 miles and already having some problems. Stering rod linkage needed replaced and crossmember needed retorqued! At least its all covered under warranty.

Sorry to hear about your problems, both of which seem to be unique. The one good thing about these trucks, if your have a problem, alot of other people did too, and you should be able to find the answer here.

Why was all of this done???? Where you exibiting a clunking feeling on turns??????

Yeah... there was a clunking feeling when I turned. Couldn't quite figure out what it was at first. Went on for about a week, and couldn't tell if I was being paranoid or not. Let a friend drive it one evening and he said something about it... so I figured I would take it in; since it was covered under warranty. Figured better safe than sorry. Drives like new again.

Thanks for the information. Mine just started doing that. I guess its time to call the dealer.
