did any one see the crash test of the new ford f150. i wonder how our trucks would fair in that test

tell u what the ford f-150 sure held up well in the cab area to prevent injuries

Good to see an improvement in that area. The previous generation F150 performed very poorly in crash tests.

The Silverado 1500 does better than the 2003 F150, but worse than the 2004 F150. According to the data at hwysafety.org., Ford has greatly improved the level of occupant protection in the new F150. I am sure we will see the same improvement in the 1500 when it is redesigned.

Did you guys watch till the end of the segment when they showed the new f150's test of hitting a pole with the back bumper at 5mph? The bumper just bent down like there was hardly anything holding it in place. I think it should be stronger than that.
