I was talking to some guys at my school telling them what I was loooking for, and them found this and they said it looked like a sweet deal. 6 100W channels, one sub, a front L/C/R, and rear L/R. My Room's TV's sound is.....well........a single mono speakerand I want more. Yes, this is for my ROOM. I figure I'll want one when I go to college in a year(or less) or two so might as well get one now.

On sale for $250. I'll start with it and eventually upgrae the TV two.

Oh yeah, if your wondering how I'll get it to work with my underfeatured TV, the PS2 has a digital optical out, and the unit has a digital optical slot. So basically my movie's and game will sound great/ watching TV will have to wait for a new one.

I bought it last night, My PS2 is my DVD player. I hooked them up using the optical out on both. It sounds great, but I need to "tune" the setting more, more bass, etc. NEed to go get a longer optical out though, mine is short so I have the PS2 siotting on a Chiltion's so the cord will reach
