2014 Silverado Radio issue

My truck radio only works ever so often. The backlight is on, but no other visual display is showing. When I remove the fuse the backlight turns off, so it's not it. The time and date will change too, like it loses memory. I have replaced fuses and checked connections to display but nothing looks wrong. After a day or few hours it will work fine. Any ideas?

My 2018 did that a couple years ago, next day it was fine, no problems since.  I did have the stealership reflash/update the firmware on the radio to correct something else, shortly after that happened.  When my radio did that, it would play my music, I just couldn't see anything, BUT reverse worked just BLINDINGLY fine.
