I have an '02 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with a damaged front bumper and grill. I would like to swap these out with the newer style HD parts or maybe even Denali parts. Does anyone know if any of this stuff will interchange? Any help would be great!

I don't see why they wouldn't.

On my '89 Silverado that I had, I changed the grill, head lights etc. over to the grill that the '94s used. Was some head aches, but the truck looked great in the end. :sigh:

What I suggest you do is to find a GMC parts dealer that wouldn't mind sitting down with you, and looking up which parts will cross over from the '02 to the '03 model year. This will give you an indication of what you will be in for. :seeya:

To convert my '89, to the '94, I had to replace the headlights, and the marker lights. The sockets on the wiring harness for the marker lights were even different, and these had to be changed. Also had to replace the reflectors, the bow-tie, all four front bumper brackets, plus the bumper fascia, and corner fillers were even different. The plugs for the headlight bulbs were different. Oh yeah had to replace the grill. :D

I should have replaced the radiator support, but I was able to modify some brackets to hold the bottom of the grill. I ended up with about $700 tied up in it. Cheaper than a new truck at the time. :jester:

Yeah, I already went to my local dealer and they were no help. Seems like you guys know more than anyone so I thought I would check here. I don't really want a big hassle, just thought some of that stuff ( bumper/grill) would just bolt up. I like the fog lights in the bumper. My '02 has the lights in a seperate air dam.
