hard cold start

i have a 2000 silverado 4.3 with a starting problem !! it use to do it only when it was cold outside"Below 30 degrees" but now it does it ll the time no matter if it's the first start or engine warm and also if you try to use the passing gear on the highway it will fall flat on it's face!!!! I replaced the fuel filter plug's ,,Etc used plenty of injector cleaner :seeya: Can anyone help me with this,,,thanks

Not sure, Could be many things. Check the Air Filter, all the fluids, dist cap and rotor, plugs and wires, etc... Using alot of Fuel Injector Cleaner will turn the white part of the plugs red, not sure how that effects stuff but you should use it appropriately according to the instructions on the bottle. If you are using the stuff that says add to every tank full, add it to every tank full, but if it says add every 3000 miles, dont add it every tank full. The hard start and passing gear thing could be 2 separate issues. Do you put the key in the run position for a few seconds before you crank it?? I usually turn my key to run until I hear the fuel pump kick off, then I start it.

I'am not adding cleaner every tank but enough,,, yeah I let the fuel pump up but that don't do it either,, I even let it set in the garage and it act's the fool when :seeya: i want to start it
