GM part numbers

I collected my first deer last night, and now my truck needs some new parts. Unfortunately, I don't know what the part numbers are. I went to gmpartsdirect.com, but they can only help if you already know the P/N's. I checked all of their FAQ's too, but there's nothing mentioned about how to search the site. gm.com doesn't have any parts search capability either.

 

I need to find P/N's for 2 things mainly:

 

* the black plastic piece that fits over the entire top of the front bumper

 

* the grill insert that stretches from the hood down to the bumper

 

My truck is an 02 2500HD. Does anyone know where I can get these P/N's from?

Just call the 800 number on the www.partszoneonline.com website. You can tell them what you need and they will be able to give you part numbers or take your order over the phone. I have called them a few times and found them to be very helpful

www.partszoneonline.com (P & G Chevrolet) has a little higher prices than GMpartsdirect, but they usually more than make up for it with reasonable shipping rates. Shipping is where GMPD makes all their money I guess.

GM Parts Direct does have some high shipping, but if you add it all up, they are still the cheapest.

 

Another place to check out is www.rockauto.com They have quite a few things there.
