HELLO EVERYONE I HAVE A QUESTION HOPEFULLY SOME ONE CAN ANSWER IT. I HAVE A 2003 RCSB WITH THE 5.3 LITER, LOCKING DIFF, AND 3.73 GEARS. MY QUESTION IS IN STOCK FORM IF I USE A HYPERTECH, WESTERS, SUPERCHIPS ANY OF THOSE WHAT WILL BE MY NEW TOP SPEED. I KNOW THAT TIRES ARE AND ISSUE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE NEW TOP SPEED. I KNOW THEY CLAIM TO REMOVE THE SPEED LIMITER BUT BY HOW MUCH. IT CURRENTLY IS 98 MPH. CAN THEY RAISE IT BY AS MUCH AS 30 MPH. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANKS.

I believe the Hypertech and all the other handhelds will raise it to 125 mph max, but you choose your tire speed rating.

Wester's will program it to any speed you request, in one mph increments up to I think 220mph, which ridiculously is the fastest that can be programmed. It actually can't be eliminated, just raised beyond what is feasible or practical. Most go for 130, I went for 150, not that I'll ever do it!

Just as you said, I heard 128 mph also. Who knows, I'll never get my truck near that, unless I drive it off a cliff.
