4l60-e temp sensor location???

I remember reading on here that there is a 1/8 pipe thread hole on the 4l60-e, mine is a 97 zr2 trans, where would it be cuz I wanna install a tranny temp sensor.

There is a pressure test port about half the way up on the left side of the tranny above the front edge of the oil pan

You might try getting a wiring diagram of your truck and seeing if one is already installed for your computer or something, and try tapping that signal. Just a thought.

Yes, there is already one on the 4l60e but the pcm uses it and adding wire and a guage could mess with the resistance value the pcm sees
