Upgrades before Westers

Thanks to Butch , I am getting closer and closer to getting a Westers tune on the Visa. My question is, if I wanted to do LS1 fans and a 180 thermostat, should I do that before the tune or can I wait until I have real money instead of the visa?

Furthermore, what mods would you consider to be a must before a tune to take full effect of the tune? Thanks for the help, Nick

Oh you will feel the difference from the tune no matter what. I dont see you having a problem adding the fans before or after the tune. But I would do the new stat before you get the tune. As far as paying for it... Whichever suits you and whichever the wife wont find out about!!

I would do the stat before the westers....that way he can program for it and you won't have to send it back to him....even when you add the fans, i'm not sure how different his programming would be with the fans.

I would think the fans wouldn't matter unless u wired them to your computer and used it to cut them on and off, but i would definitely put the thermostat in before getting the tune.
