4.3 performance.

I was watching Car and Driver Tv a few months back and they had the GM Toys on. They had all kinds of sick cars and trucks but one thing stuck out in my mind. John Moss said they were making a performance 4.3 engine for us smaller truck guys instead of doing the V8 conversion. This is suppose to have 280 or 290hp with 3inch exhause engine back. Has anyone else seen this episode and if so has anyone else heard of this engine.

it was a concept truck they called the zz4.3. the power was due to a new intake manifold and camshaft. Unfortinatly they canned that like the rest of the performance stuff. if you want to make power with your 4.3 its not hard. with my setup and heads and a comp cam I am debateing doing I should put down about 240 hp to the wheels. 320 with the juice.
