Spindle Lift?

I saw somewhere on the internet something about a spindle lift for chevy trucks, I knew you could drop a truck with spindles but can you lift one? Do they make kits for that sort of thing or is it more of a homemade thing? THe site I saw had "lift spindles" for like $500 bucks, and it said it gave like 4.5 inches of lift. Is this legite or just some kinda scam? Or does this spindle thingie only or on 2WD trucks?

I believe the spindle lift is used for 2wd's only.

Nope.. They are for 4wd's also. What it does is drop the LCA and leaves the UCA in place and connects the 2 with a new spindle. The only thing I personally dont like about spindle lifts is that they dont drop the front Diff the full length they do the rest of the suspension. Leaving you with harsher CV angles and less room for Tbar Cranking

And that's exactly why I didn't think they made them for 4x4's.I know when the spidle lifts first got popular they were for 2x's only and I hadn't checked on them since then.

Who makes a spindle lift for a 4x4? I've never seen one advertised. I notice that some suspension lifts for 4x4's include new spindles/knuckles with the kit but they also include a lot of other hardware to complete the lift.
